Nasiphi Ntshanga
"I am a PhD student at the University of KwaZulu Natal and have been part of SAEON since 2013. My research involves exploring landscape transformation and fragmentation (lots of remote sensing and GIS), and it's interactions (lots of coding and statistics) with other global change drivers such as climate change and alien invasions (lots of reading). I enjoy learning new things (hence the PhD) and challenging myself.
Outside of academia, my passions include motivating young women and encouraging young men, to dream big and to chase those dreams hard"
