Algoa Bay, is a unique area influenced by both warm and temperate waters. An ever growing population striving for a better life and an ecosystem under pressure calls for better understanding of the natural environment and the processes. The better a system functions the more value it has, the more stable it is. Shirley hopes to contribute to our understanding of the different habitats and communities as well as their connectivity to other neighbouring systems.
