Tim manages the Observations Database, SA Estuaries Information System, Species Database, Line-fish database and the new Biodiversity Database. Prior to SAEON his main focus centered around the development of systems for biologists, specifically taxonomic information systems, as well as making biological data accessible to scientists and the public. He has an M.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Port Elizabeth.
