Tshifhiwa Ndou

Tshifhiwa Ndou has been appointed as an intern through the DST/NRF programme 2016/2017, starting 1 April, but have been helping out at the node since 1 February following her predecessor's departure. Her main tasks are to assist with the planning and implementation of education outreach activities, while she will also have reception and administrative duties. Tshifhiwa obtained a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Sciences from the University of Venda and is currently studying towards a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) at Unisa. She is very excited to have received a platform to learn more about the environment and to sharpen her educational skills through participation in the node’s education outreach programmes. Tshifhiwa loves working with learners and is looking forward to interacting with them. She hopes her experience at the node will open her eyes in her career and to also achieve more as an individual.
